Terms of Service
Effective April 2026
1. Service description
Aviator Avenue provides drone flight legality advisory data via API endpoints. The service cross-references coordinates, altitude, drone specifications, and operator categories against airspace zone data and structured aviation regulations.
2. Advisory nature
All results from Aviator Avenue are advisory only. They are not a substitute for official aviation authority authorization. You are solely responsible for verifying compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and local rules before operating a drone. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the data provided.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to: abuse the API, exceed rate limits, resell raw data without written agreement, reverse-engineer the service, or use the API for any unlawful purpose.
4. API keys
One API key per account. Keys are confidential and must not be shared publicly or embedded in client-side code without understanding the security implications. We may revoke keys used in violation of these terms.
5. Availability
We target high availability but provide no formal SLA on Free or Explorer tiers. Operator and Enterprise tiers include uptime commitments as described in the applicable plan terms.
6. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Van Moose is not liable for regulatory penalties, fines, accidents, property damage, personal injury, or any decisions made based on API results. Your use of flight legality data is entirely at your own risk.
7. Data accuracy
We maintain regulation and airspace data to the best of our ability but cannot guarantee real-time accuracy across all jurisdictions. Zone boundaries are approximate. Regulations may change between our update cycles.
8. Payment
Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly via Stripe. No refunds for partial billing periods. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate at any time. Upon termination, your account data will be deleted within 30 days. API usage logs are retained for 90 days per our privacy policy.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Amsterdam.
